Skiing on the slopes of the Cantal Volcano, from Le Lioran resort or the Col de Prat de Bouc mountain pass, is a chance to discover the magnificent snow-covered landscapes of the Massif Central. The 150-hectare Le Lioran resort offers a range of winter sports activities for all categories of guests. Ranging in altitude from 1,160 to 1,850 metres, you can enjoy slopes among the fir trees or at the summit of the Plomb du Cantal and take in the 360° panorama of Europe’s largest stratovolcano !
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced skier, there are more than 40 slopes for all levels covering almost 60 km. Le Lioran resort is located in the centre of the Cantal department, between Massiac/St-Flour and Aurillac. A strategic location within easy reach by train or car.

The Jambe ski lift provides access to the entire ski area, before switching to the other side of the resort, Le Lioran. Caution: ski lift is not recommended for beginners or young children.
