The Nordic Area of Haut-Cantal Puy Mary offers a wide range of Nordic activities in the heart of the magnificent snow-covered landscapes at the foot of Puy Mary, classed as a Grand Site de France. Over 60 kilometres of signposted, safe snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails for both "diagonal" step and "skating" step skiers at two gateways: the Col de Serre (1,309 m altitude) and Lascourt (1,200 m altitude) A connecting slope links the two gateways.

A slope dedicated to this activity has been specially laid out on the Col de Serre site. The promise of an unforgettable experience surrounded by animals and breathtaking scenery at the Grand Site de France Puy Mary Volcan du Cantal. The peak slope 4.70 km.

The Nordic ski area has a range of price packages to choose from. The main prices for the 2022-2023 season are given below as a guide.

Cross-country skiing

  • Adult day (ages 16 and upwards): €9
  • Junior day (6-16 years’ old): €5
  • Day for under 6-year-olds: free
  • Family day pass (2 adults and 2 children): €22
