Allanche - Cézallier
The potters’ market is held every year on the Place du Cézallier in Allanche on the 3rd weekend in July. Over the course of two days, the site will be adorned in its finest colours. Some thirty professionals from all over France come together to showcase the very best of their art.
The Potters’ Market is an invitation to discover the skills and craftsmanship of our potters. It is also an opportunity to discover the world of passionate potters and to be transported into the wondrous and vibrant world of art.
It is a showcase for an age-old tradition, combined with the imagination and talent of today’s ceramists.

Each creation reveals the countless facets of clay in a wide variety of techniques: stoneware, raku, earthenware, porcelain, glazed, smoke-fired or “terre mêlée” earthenware.
While tableware is omnipresent throughout the market, jewellery, sculptures and decorative objects also arouse the curiosity of visitors.
