Over 2 days this hike is a real wonder with the Lac du Pêcher, the Lac Sauvage and the Frau de Collanges. The Croix du Gendarme, the Limon plateau and the Laqueuille rock offer a view of the Monts du Cantal and the Santoire valley.
Enjoy the peace and beauty of Lac du Pecher and Lac Sauvage before venturing out.
From the Limon plateau and the Gendarme cross, you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the Santoire valley and the Rocher de Laqueille.
This rock, the last remnant of an ancient lava lake, is home to two high-altitude peat bogs. It’s also a great place to observe the local flora and fauna.
