The walking circuit leaves from the car park at the Col de Font de Cère. You will make your way to the foot of the emblematic Puy Griou in the heart of Cantal’s great volcano.
The alternating freezing and thawing of the last ice age explains the scree that covers its flanks. Take a look at its 2 brothers, Griounou (1514m) and Usclade (1498m), which date back some 7 million years.
