Is the Pas de Peyrol mountain pass open at the moment?

No it's closed !

It's open to the public from the end of April to the end of october.

The Pas de Peyrol mountain pass, a road pass at the foot of Puy Mary, is accessible from spring to autumn.

Planned closing date: November, as soon as the first snow arrives on the massif.

  • Mountainous areas: vehicles must be equipped during the winter: Cantal included!
  • From the 1st of November to the 31st of March, it is compulsory to equip your vehicle with winter tyres, or to have snow chains or snow socks.
  • No need to panic if you don’t have any of this equipment, you can get it from the garages in the area.

REGULATIONS - SPECIAL EQUIPMENT

Four Maisons France Services centres have been set up in the Hautes Terres region, offering a fee-paying printing and photocopying service, as well as free use of computers.
