At Landeyrat, we take the opportunity to ride the vélorail, then wander through the estives and around the peat bogs, passing through the basaltic chaos, not forgetting the Roche d’Apcher – a great program!

Guidebook with maps/step-by-step

Departure- Landeyrat train station. Take the D204 towards the village of Landeyrat.

1- Enter a parcel on the left, and go along the barbed wire and the old track below.

2- Go up the track and follow it straight ahead, leaving the lanes leading to the village and the tracks on your left.

3- Turn right to go back down to the village.

4- Go around the buildings on the left, then through the village and up towards the cemetery.

5- Take the right-hand track.

6- Follow the track through the plot to reach the scree.

7- Cross the chaos and climb back up to the road.

8- Cross and climb the road opposite.

9- Take the track on the left. Go around Les Prades and rejoin the road.

10- Continue along the road, then enter the plot on the right and follow the barbed wire.

11- Reach the stream via the hillock. Then go through the fences to reach the railroad.

12- Follow the track to the right as far as the departure station.
